The Books of Albion
Never far from the headlines and usually in a bad way, Pete Doherty is seen as the bad boy of the current music scene. his association with Kate Moss, run-ins with the police which eventuated with him serving time in prison and several attempts a checking into clinics to dry out or get off drugs have not helped his reputation. His notebooks over the past eight years give insight into how and why he is the person he is and also gives some idea of what is going on in his head. Strangely hypnotic reading when you as the outsider realise his life is in a downward spiral of his own making.
