After finding a collection of hidden postcards in the attic in their house in Remuera where the Gluckman's had lived for three generations, Ann Gluckman has them put in order and translated from the original Yiddish/Russian/Latvian to discover what life was like for her grandparents before and after they moved to New Zealand in 1904. A fascinating story is revealed and 'the old country' on the edge of revolution much better understood.
